Assassin’s Creed Mirage Serpent’s Nest Puzzle Book

When you arrive at the library during the Viper’s Nest quest, you will collect four books of different colors: black, white, yellow and blue. The poem you can read in the room seems to allude to the four elements corresponding to these books: ocean, desert, cobra and dove.

Once you go up the stairs, you can place these four books on the altars, and if you do it in the right order, you will solve the puzzle and reveal a secret room that you can go through.

The poem at the bottom of the stairs hides the key to the answer to the book’s riddle.

However, these books and their associated metaphors get a little lost in translation. You may have already figured out what each book means, but here’s the piece of the puzzle:

  • Ocean – blue book
  • Desert – Yellow Book
  • Cobra – Black Book
  • Dove – white book

This may be easy enough to understand, but when you place the books in this order, left to right, nothing happens – and this is where the important final detail comes into play: Arabic is written and read from right to left, not left to right. .

By placing the books in order from RIGHT to LEFT, you will quickly solve the puzzle.

Therefore, facing the four altars at the top of the stairs, they should be placed in the order indicated above, from right to left; so the altar closest to the stairs is for the blue book, followed by the yellow one, then the black one, then the white one.

Once you complete these steps, a cutscene will play explaining the next part of your mission.
