Best starting weapon for the Udirangr Warwolf class in LOTF

The War Wolf’s Udirangr can best be described as a glass cannon. This means that he can deal heavy damage, but is not best equipped to withstand it. You can fix this later in the game, but you’ll have to build on it early in the game. You won’t find better weapons anytime soon on your journey, but you may find better, more suitable weapons for your build in the Swamp of the Abandoned.

You’ll find a Great Sword and a Great Axe, both huge weapons that require a lot of strength to wield. They have a long range and deal a lot of damage, which is what the Udirangr War Wolf is good for. They can be found everywhere as items, so there is no need to buy them or defeat a powerful boss. As soon as you arrive, be sure to pay attention to them!

In the meantime, continue to test your strength, endurance and vitality.

Best starting armor for the Udirangr Warwolf class in LOTF

Udirangr War Wolf starts the game in light armor. This is because most of the weight will be used to lug your heavy and powerful weapon. At the beginning of the game, you will need to use light and medium armor until you gain enough stamina or survivability to carry heavy armor along with a weapon.

Light armor can be found in enemy loot, most of it found in the Abandoned Swamp. You will need to be careful early in the game and master the art of dodging to avoid taking damage at all, as it will be a while before you can get better armor than what you started with.

Be sure to save any light armor you come into contact with, as certain pieces will protect you better from certain types of damage, and you’ll need to make sure you’re the most protected in any given encounter until you get stronger light armor.
