Regrettably, neither Songbird nor any other character introduced in the Phantom Liberty expansion are available as romance options in CP2077. While this may disappoint some players, it aligns with the expansion’s storyline and the characters’ backgrounds, as super spies like them aren’t focused on romantic entanglements.
During your journey in Cyberpunk 2077, you do share some touching and personal moments with Songbird, but these interactions are solely for character development, both yours and hers, and do not lead to any romantic involvement.
Throughout the rest of the DLC, your interactions with all the Phantom Liberty characters are strictly platonic, spanning from casual to professional relationships. At most, as you progress through the questline, you’ll have the option to enjoy a brief dance with a different character, Alex. Alex will contact you, inviting you for a drink, and a dance scene will unfold, though it doesn’t evolve into a romantic connection.
So, if you had your heart set on romancing Songbird or the charismatic Solomon Reed portrayed by Idris Elba in Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll have to set those hopes aside. It’s somewhat disappointing, considering that some of the DLC characters are quite intriguing.
However, it’s important to note that the Phantom Liberty DLC doesn’t completely eliminate the possibility of romance. Your pre-existing romances will feature new dialogue options through text messages as you progress through the DLC’s storyline. Furthermore, if you choose to explore the new endings provided by the DLC, these decisions will have a significant impact on your existing relationships. Given the nature of these changes, it might be a good idea to create a separate save to witness these developments firsthand, as they could take unexpected turns.
