Cyberpunk 2077: How to get the best ending in Phantom Liberty

There are several ways to complete the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, and it all depends on your choice. Some of them are time-sensitive, and your choices may change depending on how your story progresses and which side you choose to side with. Every choice you make has consequences, and they add up quickly.

At the end of Phantom Liberty, the ending you get reflects everything you’ve done, and it eventually comes. to the point of siding with Songbird or working with Reed to help her. Here’s what you need to know about how to get the best ending in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion.

What is the best ending in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?

What qualifies as the best ending is subjective. It all comes down to the Cyberpunk 2077 character you play and their own ideals. However, if you’re looking for a streamlined ending that wraps everything up and leaves most of the main characters alive , I believe it comes from siding with Songbird.

You’ll have the chance to side with Songbird during the Firestarter mission as you work with Alex to foil Kurt Hansen’s plans. When you work with Songbird, she goes a little deeper into Blackwall to control the entire stadium and then get you two out of there . While Songbird does this, Alex above you deals with Kurt Hansen, destroying him and removing him from the Cyberpunk 2077 narrative.

This is an important decision because your playthrough will change if you side with Reed, where Songbird expends a lot of energy to dive into the Blackwall, flaring up in anger at how your character betrayed her and from Reed. As she escapes, Alex is confused and killed by Kurt Hansen, and you will have to destroy him before you can leave the stadium. Between these two, it’s easier to side with Songbird because Alex is alive and she won’t die in your Cyberpunk 2077 story.

After this point, Songbird’s story is about her trying to get to the shuttle to get to the Moon. Before Songbird can reach the shuttle, Reed appears, and then you will have to make a decision to send Songbird to the Moon or give her to Reed, who promises to take care of her at the FIA. If you want everyone to survive your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, giving Songbird to Reed is a good idea because the alternative is to shoot him and put her in the shuttle .

If you side with Reed, he promises to give you the cure, but it kills Johnny and has serious side effects. This ends your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, but when finishing Phantom Liberty in general, giving Songbird to Reed before you get to the moon shuttle isn’t a bad choice, especially if the alternative is killing him.
