Forza Horizon 5 Receives FSR 2.2 and DLSS 2.4 Support

Forza Horizon 5 , one of the most popular racing-themed games , is currently preparing for an important update.

According to the statement made by the publisher, both higher quality ray tracing support and DLSS 2.4 and FSR 2.0 support will be added to the game.

Forza Horizon 5 Update Will Be Released on November 8

The most striking part of the new update will be advanced ray tracing support . Two separate options will be added to the game regarding ray tracing support. The first will be Ultra mode and the second will be Extreme mode .

Don’t Miss: Forza Horizon 5 System Requirements

In the Ultra option, we will see high-resolution reflections in photo modes. When you switch to the Extreme option, things will change a little more. This time, high quality reflections at full resolution will be available in the normal flow of the game.

In other words, a new era will begin in ray tracing. Forza Horizon 5 will now offer much more advanced ray tracing support. We will see much more realistic reflections.

Of course, the new ray tracing support also increases the system requirements. According to the current system requirements breakdown , you will need to have RX 6800 XT or RTX 3080 graphics cards or higher models to benefit from this feature and maximize ray tracing quality .

Apart from this, it was announced that DLSS 2.4 support and FSR 2.2 support will be added to the production in order to avoid loss of performance in the game. Independent of ray tracing, DLSS 2.4 and FSR 2.2 will be a nice plus for those who experience low performance problems in the game.

Let us remind you once again that the release date of this major graphics update we mentioned is November 8 .
