How to Complete the Happy Together Side Quest in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is full of life moments that you can interact with or just confess. Life in a dystopian distant future is difficult and largely devoid of joy, unless you indulge in one of the many, many vices available. Outside your Watson apartment, you’ll soon hear this slice of life when you find two police officers knocking on someone’s door. If you’re curious, you’ll start your journey with the Happy Together side quest in Cyberpunk 2077. This quest will either be tragic or rewarding, depending on your choice. Here’s how to complete Happy Together in Cyberpunk 2077.

Side quest “Happy Together” in Cyberpunk 2077.

Let’s start happily together

Talking to the cops will start your quest and you will learn that they want to contact their friend Barry, a former NCPD officer. You will be asked to check it. Knocking on his door will be of no use and you will have to return later. You can wait a few hours on the menu to skip the wait. Knock on his door again and he will answer.

You will need to handle the delicate conversation correctly if you want to get a good ending to this quest. There are special dialogue options that require a level 4 body, but they are not needed to get the good ending. Tell him you just want to talk when he opens the door and listen to him. The key here is to tell him that his friends asked you to come over, and then admit that you’ve lost someone too.

At this point in the conversation, be sure to exhaust all optional (blue) dialogue. This will give you more insight into his position and allow you to get a good ending.

To safely end the conversation, ask about his friends in the police, validate his feelings by saying, “Everyone has their limits,” and then finally get up and leave.

Find Andrew’s Niche

If you exhaust the optional dialogue, an additional quest step will be available to you. Visit Andrey’s niche. Open the map to find out where it is and go downstairs before talking to the cops. Talking to the police immediately afterwards will lead to a bad ending.

Once you arrive at the location, you will need to use the scanner to find the correct niche. It’s in the lower right corner of the search area. Once you find him, you learn that Andrew was a turtle. Poor guy.

Return to the police and tell them that you visited Andrew’s grave. Choosing another option will result in a bad ending. The cops will then head to Barry’s apartment and Barry will let them in. A good ending has been reached.

Bad end

If you talk to the cops about his depression instead of visiting Andrew’s grave, the cops will tell you to return to Barry in a few hours. However, as a result, his apartment door will be wrapped in police tape and covered in blood. Make sure to check on your friends when they’re feeling down, okay?
