While Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is a more linear experience than other recent games, you still need to upgrade your gear. By upgrading your equipment, weapons and tools, you will be able to deal with tougher enemies. To get the most out of your gear, it’s a good idea to upgrade it frequently and whenever possible. Because you will hit a wall, and this can be explained by the fact that Basim is poorly equipped. Unlike Valhalla, in which you had to raid to obtain a wide range of resources, the latest entry only requires three to collect, making the game easier in that regard. To learn how to farm Steel Ingots, Leather, and Components in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, keep reading.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – How to Farm Steel Ingots, Leather and Components
There are several ways to collect these resources, each with a different drop rate. Below I’ll share which ones stand out the most and have a higher success rate.
Pickpocketing
One method – and probably one of the most common methods – is to pickpocket the NPCs littering Baghdad. When you approach the NPCs, approach them from behind and a prompt will appear telling you to time it correctly. If you do this correctly, the NPC won’t notice and you’ll be able to leave without too much trouble. Although the chance of dropping steel bars or leather is random, it can’t hurt to try. I noticed that the more I stole, the more they dropped out. So, consistency is the key here.

Loot Chests
Another way, with a slightly higher chance, is to find chests located throughout the world. You can easily spot these chests using your Eagle Vision. They will light up with a golden aura, making them stand out even more. As with pickpocketing, the drop is random. However, you may stumble across expensive trinkets for sale or a fancy new weapon. Even if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, you can still get something worthwhile.

Sellers
If you have enough money that can be earned in various ways, contact the Merchant. These merchants are located throughout Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Each will have a different amount of steel ingots and leather. In addition, the inventory seems to reset every day. This way you can come back often and get what you need. If you have the means, you can quickly upgrade your gear this way.

Contracts
They can be found in all assassin bureaus located throughout Baghdad. Usually most contracts give a large amount of resources, but if this is not the case, take a few of them to continue farming. Each contract has bonus requirements that give more, so if you make the contract with finesse, you will be able to farm quickly using this method. Besides purchasing items, this is the second fastest method. You should do this mainly because you will not only get more money, but also other things like equipment or a couple of skill points.
