How to 100% explore planet Aquila – Starfield

In Starfield, players can explore planets using a unique scanning mechanic while in orbit around the planet. This allows them to check planets for resources, flora, fauna, temperature, water and other important elements. If you need a specific resource or plant, this feature allows you to quickly search for planets, thereby saving time.

To fully explore a planet, players need to find all  resources ,  flora ,  fauna , and  planetary  features . After completing 100% exploration of Planet Aquila, the image above is what you should see while in orbit around the planet.

After completing your planetary exploration, return to Vladimir in the Eye or the House to sell your planetary exploration data. This will allow you to get extra credits by simply completing 100% of surveys on different planets.

How to get to Akila in Starfield

Before you start filming, you’ll need to know how to get to Aquila in the Cheyenne system. Players will only have to gravity jump once from  New Atlantis in  Jamison to reach the Cheyenne star system. The distance between  Alpha Centauri and Cheyenne is 21.56 light years . To reach this planet, you should follow the route given below.

  • Gravity jump from Alpha Centauri to the Cheyenne star system .

After landing, check the biomes for flora, fauna and planetary features located on the planet Aquila to complete the 100% survey. To select a biome as the planet rotates, click on the various visible land structures.

  • Coniferous forest
  • Savannah
  • Frozen Plains

All Aquila fauna in Starfield

On the planet Aquila in the Cheyenne star system you can find the following animals (fauna):

Elk Crangon

Crangon Elk provides nutrients as a resource and can be found in the following biomes: Frozen Plains and Savannah on the planet Aquila.

Ashta

Ashta provides antimicrobial resources and can be found on the frozen plains, coniferous forests and savannas of the planet Aquila.

Flying leech

The Flying Leech provides cosmetic resources and can be found in the Ice Plains on the planet Aquila. This animal flies above the ground, making it extremely difficult to spot. If you have Sense Star Stuff, use it to detect lifeforms nearby. I would also recommend increasing the range of your scanner by leveling up certain skills.

Creeping eurypterid

The Creeping Eurypterid provides aromatic resources and can be found in the frozen plains and coniferous forest on the planet Aquila. This animal is exceptionally small and crawls on the ground, making it difficult to track. Search areas with high densities of animal life to find the crawling eurypterid.

Whiskered rotifer

Whiskered Rotifer provides antimicrobial resources and can be found in the following biomes: Frozen Plains and Savannah. This is another animal that flies above the ground and can easily be confused with the flying leech. I would recommend using a jetpack to gain altitude and spot these creatures. I found them in packs of three in the aforementioned biomes.

Grazing Ensifer

Grazing Ensifer provides toxins as a resource and can be found in the Coniferous Forest and Savannah biomes on the planet Aquila.

Mossgnath

Mossgnathus is a source of hallucinogens and can be found in the savannah biome on the planet Aquila.

Buzzrunner

The Buzzrunner provides a resource called Sealant, which can be found in the Coniferous Forest.

Rainbow Agnathan

Rainbow Agnathan provides a solvent resource and can be found in the Ocean biome on the planet Aquila. To find ocean lifeforms, land at the edge of the biome, where you’ll see the Coastal Region pop up. For example, you can go to the Coniferous Forest (Coastal) area to find this creature. After landing, go to the beach and use the scanner to search underwater. Be careful, as the water on this planet is contaminated with chemicals, so swimming for too long is detrimental to your health.

Dropsalm

Dropsalm provides structural resources and can be found in the Coniferous Forest on the planet Aquila. This is another elusive animal that can be difficult to find when scouting the area. Dropsalms tend to hunt other animals, such as Grazing Ensifer, Buzz Runner, and Elk Crangon. Find a good scouting point and search the nearby areas of the Coniferous Forest to find this creature.

All flora on Akila in Starfield

All trees (flora) that can be found on Aquila are as follows:

Canary reed

Canary Reed provides nutrients as a resource and can be found growing in coniferous forest and savannah on the planet Aquila.

Chillhook

The Chillhook plant produces Toxin as a resource, which can be found in the Frozen Plains and Coniferous Forest on the planet Aquila.

Cold Cave Nettle

Cold Cave Nettle provides nutrients as a resource and can be found in the Ice Plains on the planet Aquila.

Golden Creeper

The Golden Creeper provides a hallucinogen as a resource and can be found in the Frozen Plains, Savannah and Coniferous Forest on the planet Aquila.

To pass the survey 100%, you also need to cover planetary characteristics. Open the scanner and rotate the map to reveal unexplored locations of planetary features. Below are two planetary features that can be found on Aquila in the Starfield:

  • Primordial Network
  • Crystal crust >
