In Lies of P, Laxasia, The Complete, assumes the role of the initial boss encountered within the Arche Abbey. However, in the grand scheme of the game, she is positioned towards the latter part of the journey. Laxasia, The Complete, serves as the formidable guardian of Simon Manus, the Awakened God and another boss you will confront in a later stage. Her physical appearance takes on a humanoid form, encased within a steel cage.
She possesses an imposing stature, equipped with a shield on her back and wields a colossal sword capable of conjuring Electric Shocks. This guide will comprehensively detail the steps required to defeat Laxasia in the game.
Lies of P Laxasia, The Complete location
Laxasia can be found in an open field near the Arche Abbey Prayer Room. To reach her, proceed through the prayer room and activate the Stargazer device. Inside the prayer room, there will be an elevator; step inside and activate it to ascend.
Upon reaching the top, you’ll find the Stargazer on your left. The door leading to Laxasia will be directly in front of you.
How to defeat Laxasia, The Complete in Lies of P
The battle against Laxasia unfolds in two distinct phases. Initially, she will be encased in protective armor during the first phase. In the subsequent second phase, she will discard her armor, adopting a more aggressive and agile combat style.
During the initial stage of the battle with Laxasia, also known as “Laxasia, the Complete,” in Lies of P, she exhibits a slow but highly damaging combat style. It’s imperative to steer clear of the path of her sword, as its strikes can swiftly turn the tide against you. Laxasia boasts a varied set of moves, so you must remain vigilant for any potentially lethal actions.
One notable aspect to watch out for is her tendency to string together attacks, punctuating them with brief pauses to catch you off guard. Keep a keen eye on this, as her combination of strikes will only conclude when she rests her sword on her shoulder to regain her composure.
Furthermore, Laxasia possesses several area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. Among them, she favors a maneuver in which she charges towards you while dragging her sword along the ground before executing a sweeping swing. The path traced by her sword becomes charged with electricity, and even after the attack’s completion, it continues to emit electrical sparks.
To evade this attack, swiftly sidestep out of harm’s way. Keep moving to avoid the sparks until her combo concludes. After her slash, you may choose to resume your offensive, but be cautious of the lingering sparks.
Additionally, she will execute a single sword swing that leaves an impactful mark on the ground, subsequently spawning multiple charged bolts that head in your direction. The safest approach to evade these bolts is to simply retreat. There will be intervals between each bolt where you can stand safely, but maintaining a backward distance is the most secure option available.
Look for openings in her attack pattern to land as many hits as possible. However, exercise restraint and be prepared to disengage if necessary; avoiding greediness is crucial.
In Lies of P, Laxasia, The Complete, undergoes a transformation as she discards her armor and hoists her shield during Phase 1. Notably, you have the opportunity to shatter this shield during this phase, rendering it unusable in Phase 2. To compensate, Laxasia amplifies her agility and unlocks the full potential of her electrical prowess.
In Phase 2, she becomes swifter and deadlier. Your optimal strategy will be to block her attacks, but precise timing is of the essence.
As Phase 2 commences, Laxasia initiates a barrage of Aerial Ranged Electric Attacks. She ascends into the air, launching multiple lightning orbs in your direction. Should you execute a Perfect Guard or parry against a lightning bolt, it will redirect towards her, inflicting damage. This can substantially deplete up to 25% of her health bar with relatively little effort.
Of particular concern are her Fury attacks, which she deploys more frequently than other bosses in the game. When you sense that the first phase has extended for an extended duration, consider it a signal to step back, as her Fury attack is imminent.
During her frenzied sword-slashing sequences, she becomes particularly volatile, providing an ideal opportunity to create distance. It’s worth noting that she commonly deploys her Fury attack immediately after her initial lightning orb barrage. After skillfully deflecting the lightning bolts toward her, retreat to gain perspective on her subsequent move.
