Starfield Raising Universal Trait Explained: Should I Remove It or Is It Worth It?

The Starfield Raised Universal trait links your character to the Sanctum Universum religion. This faith believes in the existence of a deity somewhere in space, waiting to be discovered by humanity. By choosing this trait, players join the Sanctum Universum, receiving both its benefits and limitations.

Pros and cons of Starfield Raising Universal

Players can select the Raising Universal trait during the character creation process at the beginning of Starfield. Below are the benefits of this feature:

    1. Exclusive Access to a Unique Chest: Players with this trait can gain access to a special chest located in the Sanctum Universum in New Atlantis. This chest contains many items, including:
      • Addychron
      • Boom Pop! Orange
      • Neocity holiday poncho or Neocity urban clothing
      • Medical kits
      • Sanctum Universum, volumes one to three

< li> Oxygen Regeneration Bonus: A Neocity Holiday Poncho or Neocity Urbanwear found in a chest provides a 5% bonus to Oxygen Regeneration. This can be especially useful in the early stages of the game, helping players survive longer in difficult conditions.

Here’s the downside:

  • Limited Access: While players gain access to the Sanctum Universum treasure chest, they will lose access to the House of the Enlightened chest. This means they are missing out on the potential rewards the chest could offer.

How To Remove An Elevated Universal Trait

Visit Guardian Aquilus in the Sanctum Universum. Engage in conversation by expressing your doubts about faith. By choosing certain dialogue options, players can remove the Raised Universal trait. However, before you do this, make sure you have looted the exclusive chest in Sanctum Universum.

Is Raised Universal Worth It?

The value of the Raised Versatile trait depends on individual gameplay preferences. If players are drawn to the teachings of the Sanctum Universum and value unique items and the oxygen recovery bonus, this trait is a good choice. However, it is important to weigh the benefits against the limitations, especially given the inability to access other religious chests. Ultimately the decision comes down to personal playstyle and the value players place on the rewards on offer.
