This opportunity arises during the “One Small Step” campaign mission when you visit New Atlantis on the planet Jemison. In the Spaceport district, make your way to the elevator near Terrabrew Coffee. Within the House of Enlightened, you’ll encounter Andy Singh, who will solicit your aid in escorting Tahir Vala back home. Agreeing to assist Andy will activate “The Kindness of Strangers” quest in Starfield.

How to complete The Kindness of Strangers in Starfield

Your task is to assist in escorting Tahir Vala from the Medical Bay to his residence in Sub 17. During the journey, you’ll also be responsible for ensuring he is properly nourished. Additionally, Andy will request that you maintain discretion regarding his participation in this endeavor.

Go to Tahir Vala at Medbay

After sustaining a severe leg injury, Tahir sought treatment at the Medical Bay. Given his weakened condition, your mission is to assist him in safely returning home. To accomplish this, you’ll need to make your way to The Wells, where the Medical Bay is located.

You’ll locate Tahir seated beside a medical sign, and your first task is to persuade him to accept your aid. While approaching, you may overhear a UC Security officer offering assistance to Tahir, but Tahir will initially decline.

When you extend your help, Tahir may initially hesitate, as he likely didn’t anticipate assistance from you. However, by choosing the appropriate dialogue option, you can earn his trust, leading to his acceptance of your offer. This can be achieved by selecting the dialogue that conveys: “Not a scam.
