Top 3 Places to Find Ships to Battle in Starfield

In the Starfield, as in life, most of us felt like we really needed to shoot some starships out of the sky. However, suitable targets are not always at hand. We then have to look for them, which can be a tedious process of trial and error when we don’t know what we’re doing. To save you from that experience, here’s our guide on where to find ships to battle in Starfield.

Star Field – 3 Best Places to Find Ships for Battle

Space combat in Starfield can be difficult at first. However, over time, you will likely get the hang of it and find that you enjoy it. At this point, it seems like there will never be enough ships to blow up. This is especially true if you are trying to level up a related skill. To find ships to battle, look in one of the following three places:

1. Simulator of space combat in New Atlantis.

2. Planets near the outer edge of the studied systems.

3. Specific planets to which you are sent on missions.

The main reason you might seek out ship battles is to level up your  Ship Command skill  . To do this, you need to destroy or board  80 ships. This will take a long time if you only find a few ships at a time, so keep the above locations firmly in mind.

1. Simulator of space combat in New Atlantis.

The fastest way to fight multiple ships is to visit the space combat simulator in New Atlantis. You’ll encounter this early on when you learn how to join UC Vanguard. The simulator is located on the lower level of the  MAST building  . You earn experience for every ship you defeat, even in the first waves. These kills count towards your tally if you are trying to master a skill.

2. Planets near the outer edge of the studied systems.

You might also like to test out your new ship in random battles. Although the ship simulator is convenient and reliable, you will not be able to use the upgraded ship. Among the stars you will be able to use your home ship. In addition, you can earn more  experience  per kill if you destroy powerful opponents.

To find ships, look around the edges of less populated systems. Near a major city, local patrols keep the skies safe (though you can attack them if you want to go on a suicide mission). When I visit more distant systems, I often encounter fleets of  starships  and  Ecliptics  . They may pursue settlers or traders, or even fight  Freestar’s collective rangers  . Participating allows me to gain a lot of  experience  and sometimes credits from the people I rescue. I can also often find ship parts and resources.

3. Specific planets to which you are sent on missions.

The last option is to complete missions on mission boards. Some of them involve space battles, and you can quickly go into battle and also earn extra credits if you win. In my case, I faced a small obstacle because I joined the Crimson Fleet. Many missions ask you to destroy pirates, but they are not actually your enemies. If you join the Crimson Fleet, it’s best to explore one of the previous two options if you want to engage in space battles.
