We Weren’t Prepared For Such An Early Launch Date Of Assassin’s Creed Red When It First Surfaced Online;
There’s now a set schedule for the much-anticipated game, Assassin’s Creed Red. This part of the series is the first one to take place in Japan, where assassins start their missions.
Arisa Lagunzad from Ubisoft mentioned on LinkedIn that Codename Red will be their biggest game in 2024. Finally, we have a clear idea of when it’s coming! It’s hard to imagine what else we could be playing next.
Assassin’s Creed fans have been waiting since 2007 for a game set in feudal Japan. This time and place are perfect for stealth action games like those in the series. Plus, Japan itself is a beautiful country, and Ubisoft has done an amazing job recreating it.
Ubisoft hasn’t shared much about this game yet, but if it sticks to its 2024 release plan, we can expect a detailed trailer soon that will give us a better look at this game with two main characters and a strong focus on stealth. Right now, all we know for certain is that players will get to control both shinobi and ninjas as they go after an underground organization, which is pretty standard for the series.
On LinkedIn, Lagunzad added that Assassin’s Creed fans have been eager to explore Japanese history and culture, and they are currently looking for sponsors for “Assassin’s Creed Codename RED for next year.” Arisa seems to be searching for media partners who might be interested in creating podcasts or manga series related to the game as potential marketing strategies.
Assassin’s Creed has been highly successful with its recent release, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which took a more focused approach with smaller maps and shorter stories set in 9th-century Baghdad. It received praise for its accurate portrayal of the time and culture from that era.
